We are required by law to sight and take a copy of your Physical Government issued photo ID, this can be a Passport or Drivers Licence. They must be current or no more than 2 years past its expiry date.

• Will you buy my gold?

  ·         Yes, we buy all types of gold and other precious metals.

  ·         We generally do not buy gold-plated items, although we may buy some vintage-style rolled-gold pieces.

  Do I need an appointment?

  ·         No appointment is required.

  ·         If you have many items, assessing them may take time, so you may need to leave them with us.

  ·         If you need a price on a specific day, contact us first so we can recommend the best time to visit.

  Where should I bring my gold?

  ·         Visit us at 421 Colombo Street, Sydenham, Christchurch.

  ·         We are open 9am–5pm Monday to Friday and 10am–2pm Saturday. We are closed on public holidays.

  Do you buy silver or other items?

  ·         Yes, we buy silver, subject to a minimum weight.

  ·         Call us on 03 366-5475 to discuss your items and whether we may buy them.

  ·         We do not buy silver-plated items.

  How much will you pay?

  ·         The amount depends on the type and weight of the gold or other precious metal you are selling.

  ·         Prices are updated daily.

  Can you quote a price over the phone?

  ·         Yes, if you can provide each item's purity or carat and weight.

  ·         For precious stone set pieces, we will need to inspect pieces before we can calculate a price that includes the stones' value.

  When will I be paid?

  ·         We make bank-transfer payments from 3pm. If you visit after this time, payment may not be made until the next business day.

  ·         Payments are processed Monday to Friday.

  ·         Weekend transactions are completed on the next business day.
